We have changed ownership from the State of Oregon to Lake County. A part of that change was an expanded (4,400 X 60) paved runway and an enlarged, paved parking area, approximately 300X 200 with a huge dirt parking area attached. The paving and expansion is completed. Grounds attached and north of the parking area have been prepared for building hangers. Paisley Airport is an excellent location for pilots that want to get into the "Outback" of Oregon and witness first-hand the beauty of this area. It is like roughing it smoothly, with a paved strip and the facilities of a small town only one mile away. Camp next to the runway for free and watch the colors change on the mountains as the sun sets. If you enjoy senic beauty, fishing, hunting, camping, hang gliding, hiking, or photography, you'll love Paisley. The Fremont Nation Forest and all of its attractions are just a few miles away. Summer Lake, and Albert Lake are all within sight from 4,000 above Paisley. Silver Lake is just over a small ridge line. Fly from Paisley up the Chewaucan River into the Fremont and discover Coffee Pot Flats and several beautiful valleys.
